Gandhaga rasayanam is a rasayanam variety of siddha medicine. The shelf life of this type of medicine is one year. The textual reference of this medicine is 'Siddha vaidya thirattu'. This medicine is composed of 15 ingradients which include

1. Purified Sulfur - Purified gandhagam

2. Withania roots - Amukkura

3. China roots - Parangi pattai

4. Thrikadugu (Chukku, milaku, Thippili)

5.Thriphala (Kadukkai, Nellikakai, Thannikkai)

6. Embeliya fruits - Vayvilangam

7. Cardomom - Elam

8. Cloves - Lavangam

9. Sandal wood - Chandanam

10. Purified marking nuts - Purified serankottai

11. Lead wort root - Kodiveli ver

12. Bengal gram dhal - Mookku kadalai paruppu

13. Jaggery - sarkarai

13. Honey

15. Ghee

Dose : 6-12 gms Twice daily.

Regimen : Should avoid tamerind

Indication: Venereal diseases, Skin diseases, Leprosy, Leucoderma, and leucorrhoea.
